Of Polish and Cameroonian descent, Tess grew up in Provence, in the south of France. After earning a master’s degree in Primary Education, she chose to move to Canada. A lifelong athlete, she competed at a high university level in cheerleading, winning two World University Champion titles in the Cheerdance category. Curious and open to the world, she also lived in the Netherlands, where she improved her English and discovered new cultures.
